We are going to held “AZUMINO KAMIAKARI” from NOV 30th/DEC 1st to 2nd

the time 16:00 until 20:00. Mystical bamboo lanterns will light up in Hotaka Shrine.

The deity “Hotakaminomikoto” is enshrined here. His older sister “TOYOTAMAHIME” is god of Mt. Sobosan and is enshrined Takeda city, Ooita   prefecture.

Moso Banboo were sent from his sister as a gift. These bamboo gift became bamboo lanterns. Ten thousands of bamboo lanterns will be lit and those lanterns make Hotaka shrine a very mystical atmosphere.

 

There will be live performance and stalls too. You can get some drinks and hot food during the event. Some local products sent from Ooita city will be there too.
